Cape Conran
Cape Conran Coastal Park near Marlo in East Gippsland has heathlands, wild ocean beaches and banksia woodlands brimming with nectar-feeding birds. A great park for water activities including swimming, diving, boating, fishing or rock pooling.
East Gippsland Rail Trail
A long rail trail, which passes through a variety of forest and farmland. Experience the views beside the long timber bridge into Orbost, with rich birdlife and wildlife in forest areas.
Ideal for multi-day tours or day trips with lots of huge old timber bridges, railway cuttings and embankments.
McKenzie River Rainforest Walk
Explore a rainforest river valley, walk over the McKenzie River on swing bridges and see the magnificence of the forest from within the canopy. No experience required. The track is hardened gravel or compacted surface and has a gentle hill section and some steps in parts.
